About Sue...
A graduate of Leominster High School, Sue went on to earn her BA in Foreign Affairs from Assumption College and then her MBA from Simmons College.

Sue returned to Leominster to raise her family and make a positive difference in the community that she loves. Sue served as Ward 4 Councilor, giving her neighbors a constructive voice on the City Council.

She joined with other concerned Leominster residents to co-found the Notown Citizens Action Committee – a nonprofit community organization that fought to keep Leominster’s drinking water supply clean and safe. Her commitment to clean and healthy neighborhoods also led her to serve as a founding Board member of the Leominster Land Trust, which works to preserve and protect open spaces throughout the community.

Sue served on the Leominster Public Library Building Committee, and co-chaired the Leominster Public Library Fundraising Committee which successfully raised over $1.2 million in private and state funds to help modernize and renovate Leominster’s public library. She also continues to serve on the Board of Our Father’s House, a nonprofit dedicated to addressing the problems of homelessness in our community.

A mother, Sue was delighted to serve as a coach and as the volunteer girls travel director for Leominster Youth Soccer – a program that enriches the community by providing an outlet for exercise and recreation for Leominster’s children.

Sue previously was the business manager for WGBH Educational Foundation - Interactive.  She oversaw the business affairs for several children's web projects, a prime time national television series and WGBH's Teachers Domain, which provides online tools to educators and students to expand and enhance their learning and classroom activities.
