10/12 - Fitchburg Senate forum shows contrasts
FITCHBURG -- In what may be the last time they face each other before Nov. 6, state Sen. Dean Tran and his challenger, Leominster City Councilor Sue Chalifoux Zephir, outlined contrasting positions Thursday night on gun control and the nurse staffing question, among other issues.
10/12 - Sue Chalifoux Zephir calls on Dean Tran to correct Route 2 misrepresentation
Fitchburg, MA — State Senate candidate Sue Chalifoux Zephir today called on incumbent Republican State Senator Dean Tran to correct misrepresentations he made at Thursday night’s FLAP-TV debate regarding wished-for improvements to Route 2.
10/11 - Two votes for the future
Last Saturday was one of those bright, crisp fall days that most of us New Englanders adore. I was volunteering that afternoon in Leominster, asking voters to help re-elect Natalie Higgins as our State Representative and to elect Sue Chalifoux Zephir to be our State Senator. I devote some of my limited free time to do this because these two thoughtful and dedicated women are proven champions for our community.
10/8 - Berlin DTC back Chalifoux-Zephir
The Berlin Democratic Town Committee is pleased to announce our endorsement of Sue Chalifoux-Zephir as our next State Senator representing the Middlesex Worcester District.
10/4 - District needs Sue's vision
Given the recent political events that have taken place on the national level, one can't help but wonder what it all means for the future of "democracy" in country and our region. Many candidates have shown that they do not possess a strong sense of integrity but instead are swayed more by political expediency and party loyalty.
10/4 - Tran, Chalifoux Zephir spar on education
LEOMINSTER - Students got an up-close look at democracy in action Wednesday as Republican state Sen. Dean Tran and City Councilor Sue Chalifoux Zephir, his Democratic challenger, faced off in a Leominster High forum that focused on education.
10/3 - Tran's criticism of Chalifoux-Zephir's effort are unfounded
As a nurse, I'm hurt and offended that Dean Tran criticized Sue Chalifoux Zephir for her efforts to stop our local hospital from closing vital pediatric and cardiac care services in our community. How dare he refer to the important press conference held by nine state and local elected officials as a stunt? ("War of Words," Sentinel & Enterprise, Sept. 21, 2018.)
9/28 - He's backing candidate for her dedication to district
I write today to express my support for Sue Chalifoux Zephir as State Senator of the Worcester and Middlesex District. I had the opportunity of meeting Mrs. Chalifoux Zephir in my final year at Leominster High School.
9/25 - Chalifoux Zephir is getting my vote for Senate
I'm really worried. You may have heard that HealthAlliance is planning to close crucial and needed patient care departments including pediatrics. What you may not know is this:
Sue Chalifoux Zephir is the only candidate for State Senate to lead the charge against this disastrous and potentially catastrophic decision that will hurt local families.
9/21 - Vote for a strong advocate for our schools
As a School Committee member and a Leominster resident, I would like to express my endorsement for Sue Chalifoux Zephir for State Senate for the Worcester Middlesex District.
