To the Editor:
Our community deserves transparency from an advocate who will work for the entire district based on our needs. I will be voting Sue Chalifoux Zephir for State Senate, as her platform and ideas fall in line with my own.
Sen. Dean Tran voted against the Civics Education Bill. He was one of only four who voted no. It thankfully moved to the House and unanimously passed. Our students deserve a more robust education.
He voted no to raising the tobacco buying age to 21. He believes smoking is on the decline and a non-issue. I strongly disagree, especially with vaping issues seen in high schools.
Why won’t he state to his district where he stands on ballot questions?
In my opinion, he is not focusing his energy where our district needs it most.
I dislike his false accusations against Sue. Candidates lose all respect from me when they don’t cite facts and try (and fail) to make their opponent look bad. Focus on why I should vote for you. Sorry, but Sen. Tran does not have my vote. His behavior is not what I am looking to represent me.
For these and more, I will vote for Sue Chalifoux Zephir for State Senate.
