I would like to encourage voters in the Worcester and Middlesex district to cast their vote for state Senate candidate Sue Chalifoux Zephir in the Dec. 5 election.
Sue has been serving her community of Leominster as an at-large City Councilor since 2009, as director of Ginny's Helping Hand Food Pantry, and a trustee of the Leominster Public Library. Sue has a proven track record for public service.
Sue has successfully used her bachelor's degree from Assumption College and MBA from Simmons as a manager at WGBH television. She and her husband Ed have together built a successful local business, adding to the local economy.
She is the proud mother of three grown children and a recent grandmother.
Sue's passion for helping others and our community is unparalleled, and as a state senator Sue will be able to continue to fight for our values on a broader scale. Sue will be a fierce advocate for our libraries, schools, small businesses, veterans, and economic development in North Central Massachusetts. As a veteran, I have personally seen her efforts on behalf of those who have served.
Sue understands our region as a parent, business owner and lifelong member of the community.
